Youmna, born in Lebanon, arrived in Canada in 1986. She was a registered nurse in Lebanon from 1973 to 1986. She holds a medical office assistant diploma from Heritage College (Ottawa, 1990), and obtained two Versaille Academy (Ottawa) certificates for aesthetician and make-up artist in 2003. She successfully completed the self-employment program with the Y in 2003.
She has been a Legal Assistant at Barrick Domey Tannis LLP since 2005 where she focuses on clients from Arabic background. Her past professional experiences include working as a special needs worker from 1993-2004.
Youmna’s professional services are offered in both English and Arabic. She is also functional in French.
